As a plumber I often ask:

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

  • You are stronger than you think. You will face many challenges and obstacles, but you will also overcome them and grow from them. Don’t give up on yourself or your dreams.
  • You are not alone. You have people who care about you and support you, even if they don’t always show it. Reach out to them when you need help or guidance. They will be there for you.
  • You are beautiful. You don’t have to change your appearance, your personality, or your interests to fit in or please others. You are unique and wonderful just the way you are. Celebrate your differences and embrace your quirks.
  • You are smart. You have the potential to learn anything you want and achieve anything you set your mind to. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise or limit your possibilities. Explore your passions and pursue your curiosity.
  • You are worthy. You deserve respect, kindness, and love from yourself and others. Don’t settle for less or tolerate abuse. Stand up for yourself and your rights. You matter.

These are some of the things I would tell my teenage self today. What about you? What would you say to your younger self? 😊 208-891-1104 www.2ThumbsUpPlumbing.com
